For the thousands whose names we do not know

Hundreds of thousands of people were massacred by Israeli occupation forces. Among the victims were children, women, doctors, journalists, and the elderly. Only a few of their names have become known to us.

An agricultural engineer and researcher in Palestinian folklore, he is known for his efforts to document Palestinian folk heritage and link it to the land and agriculture.

A pediatrician in the emergency department at Nasser Medical Complex, she was devastated by the loss of nine of her children and her husband in an Israeli bombing that targeted her family’s home.

A Palestinian journalist for Al Jazeera in the Gaza Strip, one of the most prominent media figures covering the war, was martyred on August 10, 2025, following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent for journalists.
